Education
Jorge has a degree in Economics from the Autonoma University of Madrid and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa of Madrid.

Professional Career
He has 21 years experience in Corporate Banking at various foreign banks in Spain. From 1995 to 2006, he has been Executive Director and Area Manager for Energy and Natural Resources for the Iberian Region at WestLB. He also was a Board Member in the Bank's associated enterprises Puleva and Tavex Algodonera.

As Sumitomo Bank's Deputy General Manager from 1988 to 1995, he initiated and executed relevant Corporate Finance, Syndicated loans and Capital Markets transactions, mainly in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors.

From 1984 to 1988, he was Head of the Credit Department in the Madrid branch of First Interstate Bank of California.

Before that he combined his studies with several projects in different multinationals in Europe and USA.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
